About Us
Welcome to AariZah
AariZah’s Origin Tale
AariZah is not just a brand — it is a continuation of a legacy, a tribute to roots, and a promise to preserve the soul of Kashmir through every thread we carry forward.

The story begins with Mr. Dileep Raina, Nikita’s father — a man whose quiet strength, resilience, and deep love for Kashmir shaped everything that followed. Born in the heart of the valley, he grew up surrounded by stories, art, and the timeless rhythm of Kashmiri craftsmanship.
In 1990, when the Kashmiri Pandit community was forced into migration, his world was turned upside down. And yet, through displacement and loss, he held on to the one thing that couldn’t be taken — his roots.

In 2008, driven by nothing but sheer passion, he began a small venture in Kashmiri handicrafts and Aari embroidery — with no formal background, no safety net, just a vision to keep the craft alive. What he built was more than a business. It was a revival of heritage. A quiet rebellion against forgetting. A legacy in the making.
Years later, inspired by that same devotion, we — Nikita Raina and Prithu Gupta — came together to build AariZah. We are friends, dreamers, and now co-founders, bound by a shared purpose: to carry forward a story that deserves to be seen, worn, and remembered.
AariZah stands for more than design — it stands for belonging. For art that speaks of home. For craftsmanship that doesn’t chase trends but holds time in its hands. Every piece is thoughtfully created, with authenticity, dignity, and the quiet power of tradition.
A Note from the Heart
This is our thank you.
To a father who chose courage over comfort.
To the artisans who keep the language of thread alive.
To the land that continues to shape us — even from afar.
Paa, this is for you.
For your unwavering spirit, your belief in beginnings, and your lifelong love for Kashmir.
Thank you for showing us what it means to build something that matters — not for the world to consume, but for the soul to carry.
AariZah exists because of you.
And through it, we promise to honour what you began — stitch by stitch, story by story.

With all our heart,
Nikita Raina & Prithu Gupta
Co-Founders, AariZah

The Hands Behind Our Work
Behind every product we make is a real person — a skilled artisan who learned their craft not from textbooks, but from watching their elders work day after day.

Many of our artisans come from generations of embroiders. Their hands carry muscle memory built over decades. But despite their immense talent, their work has often gone undervalued or unnoticed.

Through our brand, we aim to give these artisans a voice. We ensure they are paid fairly, work in safe environments, and are deeply respected for what they bring to the table — because without them, this art would not survive.

When you purchase from us, you're not just supporting a small business — you're helping keep an entire tradition alive.
